Flowers of Gods

A body of five large-scale paintings holding the figure at its point of utmost tension, between violence and tenderness, desire and transcendence with its use of opposing mediums — from the sensual nature of water and the raw, violence imprints of charcoal.

Birthed inside a fictional context, the collection has its debut on a screen. From the lead character’s studio to an exhibition called Fleur des Dieux, the works anchor the series’ emotional and thematic narrative while addressing their own artistic thesis.

The paintings have inspired the series’ iconic shots, blurring the lines between art and its effect on life both in fiction and reality.
